Your right...there are a few of us.
Nice to meet a fellow James Baker. Very Impressive Website. :-)
James S Baker Monday, 29 January 2007 15:41
hah hah! Welcome Brother! You are the first OTHER James Baker to actually drop by. Is your middle initial REALLY "A"? You must be mistaken for that other fellow all the time.

I was researching THE James Baker and thought I would pay you a visit ? very impressive, even if you haven't opened your eyes yet. I wish you could take over for that other baker/bush boy. our world would be as pretty as your colors //thank you //
THE Jamie Monday, 29 January 2007 05:59
It is hard to say who is THE James Baker. There are quite a few of us. But if you are referring to James A. Baker III, it says clearly right there in his name that he is "A" Baker.. so I don't think that he can be "THE"
By the way, my eyes are QUITE open (It is hard to draw otherwise).
Thank you very much for coming by! :-)

hey jamie,
I wanted you to take a look at the artwork that I do for Dia De Los Muertos. Check it out at photobucket.com. Then search michelleritchie. (as one word) Let me know what you think when you have the time. Have a great day!
Jamie Tuesday, 7 November 2006 16:39
Michelle. thanks for coming by and posting that info about your SWEET artwork. I remember you describing them to me, but I didn't visualise them as being cool as these. Maybe it is time you got yerseff one of them there art blogs? (till then you can post that image bucket page as your homepage URL in the post form)
To everyone else: I edited Michelle's post so that there is a direct link to the pics of her sculpture/altars. So please check them out.

James: Made the mistake of thinking I would just spend a few enjoyable minutes browsing your website...an hour or so later and I'm still enthralled. So many invoking reviews, places to be led and creative verve to savour! Man...it's at once invigorating AND therapeutic. Am I getting carried away here?! Be it illustrating or writing...you do both so well!

:-) i was wondering if you are the Jim Baker from MO? I have a father named Jim Simon Baker. 10 years ago I knew he was in MO. I'm trying to connect with him, if this is the wrong Jim, then I greatly apologize.
Jamie Tuesday, 21 February 2006 09:54
No, that's not me, sorry Krystal. I am James STUART Baker. have learned that there are a LOT of people out there using my name. Good luck in finding your Dad.

James, you should be ashamed of yourself. A nice Armidale boy indulging in this...!
JB Monday, 20 February 2006 11:44
Indulging in... having a website? pretty shocking, eh?
Stirrer! How are you these days? How many years has it been?.... we just don't communicate anymore... where did the love go?
Sigh...
Ah well... we'll always have Paris...
|
Stirrer Monday, 20 February 2006 11:47
You're right about Paris. I'd forgotten.
I was trying to be funny about your indulgence. Looks like I failed miserably. Anyway, I'll try and give you a clue about who I am.
I don't say Nay! No! More like the sound a cow makes. Any help? (The site is great by the way)
|
JB Monday, 20 February 2006 15:57
Hmmm...
clue 1 "NAY" = WHINNY
clue 2 "sound a cow makes" = MOO
Winnie the Moo?

I love your robot drawing and the coloring style, esp impressed by the facial expression on your artwork.
Nice to reach your web site.

Hi, Evelyn. Yours is the first comment posted from Hong Kong, I think. Is it more peaceful to be a "person without a dream"?
